“Deep in the blue” for soprano & chamber Orchestra, 1967.
This piece was written in a summer composer conference in Pennington College, Vermont.
I wrote 6 short pieces, one of them completely graphic, (an influence of N.Y. free spirit and John Cage way of writing) but only 2 pieces were recorded and broadcasted in the U.S. I enclose the graphic page for a piece called SYNAESTHESIA as a homage to Alfred Bester book "The stars, my destination" which describesthis psychedelic phenomena. For the 2 recorded pieces I had a great soprano: International singer and performer Antonia Lavane

"The 81st Blow", "Flames in the Ashes" and "The Last Sea" - "the Documentary Trilogy" revues the history of the holocaust, directed by poet Haim Gury. The 1st movie, "The 81st blow" was Oscar nominated in 1975 in the foreign film category. The 2nd movie, "Flames in the Ashes" won the Israeli Oscar prize for musical soundtrack.
"The Wooden Gun" - Directed by Ilan Moshenson, is the story of young boys in Israel during the 1950's, juxtaposed with the life of their parents and teachers. Immigration, memories of the Holocaust and daily troubles of a young country. I wrote the soundtrack which won the yearly contest of Israeli Academy of film. the soundtrack, like the film, is a mixture of the music played in these times with a twist of modern approach and perspective.
